Form 1040
The form 1040 is the most commonly used IRS tax form for personal federal income tax returns. The form calculates the total taxable income of the taxpayer and determines how much is to be paid or refunded by the government. With a form 1040 you can report different types of income, credits, and some expenses.
W2 Form
Form W2 is an IRS tax form used to report wages paid to employees and the taxes withheld from them. Employers must complete a form W2 for each individual employee to whom they paid salary, wages or other compensation. Federal withholding is withheld from your paycheck and the amount your employer withholds depends on two things: the amount you earn or the information given on your employers form W4. If you don’t pay enough tax withholding, you might have to pay estimated tax when filing your form 1040.
Small Business Filings
A Sch-C is filled out for all small business filings to report the income and losses for the year.
Corporations
There are different types of corporations. A corporation is a legal entity separated from its owners. A S-Corporation is a corporation that elects to pass corporate income, losses & deductions through their shareholders. A Limited Liability Company (LLC) is a corporate structure where the members of the company cannot be held personally liable for the company’s debt or liabilities. 1099-NEC Form
Form 1099-NEC, Nonemployee Compensation, is filled for each individual person who received or paid out royalties, rents, cash payments, etc. A Sch-C is used to report the wages and expenses you might have had as an employee.

Partnerships
A partnership is a relationship between two or more people who do business together. Each person contributes money, property, labor or skill and shares in the profits and losses of the business. The form 1065 is filled out for partnerships which will provide each individual participating member a K-1 form for them to respectively file with their individual personal taxes.
ITIN
An Individul Taxpayer Identification Number is a United States tax processing number issude by the Internal Revenue Service. It is a nine-digit number beginning with the number “9” and is formatted like a SSN. Form W-7 is filled with the IRS to obtain your ITIN number. ITIN numbers are issued to individuals who do not have and are not eligible to obtain a valid US Social Security number, but who are required by law to file a US Individual Income Tax Return.
